Santa Cruz Expeditions director Hernando Oropeza LLiuya is a member of the
Peruvian Mountain Guide Association and fully qualified UIAGM guide.
Hernando has 10 years of mountaineering experience, is local to Huaraz, and knows the Cordillera Blanca, both below and above the snow line, like the back of his hand. He is available throughout the
season to guide mountaineering routes. Please
contact us for further details of routes to suit you, possible dates and prices. We will organise porters, arrieros and their donkeys, cooks, transport to the trail-head,
camping equipment, mountaineering equipment
etc. as required.
